Dreams will not necessarily fit into any of these categories neatly as every dream is different for every person, no two will mean the same thing. To analyse your dreams you need to think about other things, like the look of what you dreamt about (i.e. if you dream about your mother and she was bossy, maybe you think that you are getting to be bossy like her.) Have you ever had a dream like it before? Does it look like an event that has occurred in your real life?

Houses

These could represent your body, how does the house look?

• If it is run down your body is run down, ill.
• If it is well kept then your body is good, healthy.

Sea

This represents your emotions, how does the sea look?

• If the sea is rough then your emotions could be in turmoil about something.
• If the sea looks calm then you are happy with the way things are at the moment.

Peaceful Pastoral Scene

This would maybe say that you had peace of mind.

You need to think about whether things can be reversed as in this case. Maybe its not you walking over a friend who seems like a door mat, but you being walked over by others, so you are the doormat.

Falling

This can mean many things, generally this is not a good dream,

• Loss of self control.
• Fear of letting something go.
• Lack of self confidence.
• Fear of failure and ridicule.
• Inability to cope.
• It may be a warning if you saw something unsafe, such as a broken chair leg.

• Symbol of sexual release.
• Luck.
• Liberation from an obstruction.
• High hopes.
• Beware of over ambition though.

Climbing

This can mean things which can be seen as either good or bad,

• Escaping from bad emotions.
• Fear of dizzy heights, need more self confidence.
• Steep hill means there will be an uphill struggle.
• An easy climb means success.
• Fulfilment of ambitions.
• Obstacles you need to overcome in life can be represented like this also.

Nudity

This can also take on many meanings, it all depends again on the situation you dream about,

• If you are nude in a public place it means anxiety.
• Inhibition.
• A fear of sexual relationships.
• Yet if you admired in these dreams it represents that you have a need to fulfil your desires.
• Fear of failure or mistakes.
• Exposure.
• Lack of self confidence.
• Vulnerability.
• Unprepared if it is situated in the work place in a meeting.
  

Being Chased

• Metaphor for insecurity.
• At mercy of your feelings.
• Guilt.
• Fear of being caught.
• Escape.
• Refusing to face the truth.
• Need to tackle a problem.
• Infantile insecurities, a child may dream of this and it could mean that they are being bullied.

Death

As I have said previously, this does not mean straightforward death, it can mean good things too,

It could represent the ending of a phase so that a new one can be moved on to.

Treasure

Like death, this is not literal either, it does not mean you are going to find loads of money, it has good connotations,

• You are rediscovering yourself.
• You have found your lost ambitions.
• You have independence.
• You feel security.

Sex

If you dream of sex with strangers it can mean that you feel unfulfilled in the relationship that you are currently in.

Snakes

These two have meanings that could be seen as good or bad,

• Fear and evil.
• Allegories for rebirth.
• Enlightenment.

Fire

• Destructive.
• Illumination spiritually.
• Can cause pain.
• Eternal life damnation.
• Security.
• Arousing passion.
• Truthful.
• Attainment of a new level of understanding.
• Leaving old behind.

Water

As I mentioned previously, water can represent emotions and the way it looks represents how our emotions are,

• Passive and yielding.
• Security.
• Life and birth, when we are babies we are in a water sack!o Emotions out of control.
• Peaceful.
• New start, a bath in cleansing water can show the cleansing of an old life.
• Uneasy with feelings.
• If you dream of drowning it can mean you feel overwhelmed.
• If you dream of diving, you may be on a spiritual search.
• Major changes.

Building houses

The state of the house in your dream can also reflect your state of mind,

• Upstairs represents your consciousness.
• Downstairs represents your hidden self.
• If the house is cramped it can show frustration.
• If it is decaying you may have a low self image.
• A new home may represent positive changes in your life.

Accidents

These can mean that you have deep anxieties and fears. They represent your emotional state.
